This policy explains how the ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM) handles personal information on the myCPD platform.

Information we collect

  • Account details from your ICTAM membership record, such as your name, membership number, email address and institution.
  • CPD records you submit, including activity details, hours claimed and supporting evidence files.
  • Event registrations and attendance.
  • Technical data such as sign-in times and audit logs of actions taken on the platform.

How we use it

  • To authenticate you and provide access to your CPD records.
  • To review and verify CPD submissions and issue certificates.
  • To monitor compliance with annual CPD requirements and report to ICTAM administrators.
  • To send notifications about your submissions, events and account.

Sharing

Your information is visible to ICTAM administrators, committee members and reviewers where needed to manage CPD. Certificate verification pages show limited details. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep CPD records for as long as required for professional compliance and audit purposes, and apply access controls to protect them.

Your rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal information by contacting ICTAM. Some records cannot be deleted while required for compliance.
